Glazed Cinnamon Rolls

Soft rolls with cinnamon sugar and a sweet vanilla glaze.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • Filling: 3/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp cinnamon, 4 tbsp soft butter
  • Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add milk, butter, and egg; knead until smooth. Rise 1 hour.
  2. Roll dough to a rectangle; spread butter, then sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and slice 12 rolls.
  3. Place in a greased pan; rise 45 min. Bake at 350°F for 22–28 min until golden.
  4. Whisk glaze ingredients; drizzle over warm rolls.
